Whew, hemorrhoid seizures sound painful!!
My creative juices were all over the place with this clever notion of mine.
hahaha, this made me snort out loud 😛
I think this is the first Flarf that I get Charlie – really like the closing – don’t we think we have all under control.
Actually, this poem is not a Flarf. If it was a Flarf I would put the title next to it and name it Flarf.
Some of us might have it under control and some of us don’t.
A humans curiosity at its best.
I got that from the image of the doctors dancing around the antibiotic – something we think we control when we really don’t.
I also liked the image of flushing – that was really strong too
Love the energy of the spit and seizures ~ I admire where your muse leads you 🙂
Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.
~Yehuda Berg
So true.. the T.V. is a harbinger of death of human relative free will of an energy outside meant to
be balanced and controlled within…
I used to hear all the voices of T.V. in twilight sleep when after a steady diet of work.. the TV is the
opiate of respite to nothingness.. and now that
that’s gone..the TV of course..
the voices in my mind.. are remembered mind.. of mine.. and no longer the TV shows of old..:)
Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is free will.
~Jawaharlal Nehru
Interesting….but, true. “Counterfeiters flush away consciousness…” Seems people get too enmeshed with all the People magazine, Red Carpet hoohah….forget what is real….dancing around the antibiotics bottle – thinking they are in control. thinking we are in control. Lots of energy in this. Most interesting where you allow yourself to be taken in your writing.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you? The two are so, so different. One is an infinite consciousness capable of being and creating whatever it chooses, the other is an illusion imprisoned by its own perceived and programmed limitations.
~David Icke
A mirror is simply to assess a physical appearance. When I choose to look deeper, I look into my heart, soul, and mind. I do not operate on parameters of perceptions of others but rather, on the sense of true self and what I feel to be right and to be good and that is found within myself.
ouch on the hemorrhoid seizures… ha… and talking of consciousness flushed down the toilet… sounds like some of our politicians you know..
I define a ‘good person’ as somebody who is fully conscious of their own limitations. They know their strengths, but they also know their ‘shadow’ – they know their weaknesses. In other words, they understand that there is no good without bad. Good and evil are really one, but we have broken them up in our consciousness. We polarize them.
~John Bradshaw
There is an itch to do what’s never good for us – isn’t it?
What is never good for us makes us bad
what is never bad for us makes us good.
Well done – the effect of tv, deep rooted than we would like to believe. I like your form.
