Who is holding the metaphor for ransom? Your writing keep getting deeper. Well done.
Thank you sir. I had to change the first name of the Character. I named him Azonezzarg ash. It sounds much better and different and its never been heard of before.
Yes, the last line got me with the metaphor.
I love that last line.
I knew you we’re going to like that line. Metaphors need to be free not held at ransom.
Great piece!
Thank you.
In case you haven’t notice but I changed the first name. It went from Furlin to now Azonezzarg Ash. It rings more weirdness and original to a name that’s never been heard by humans.
How’d you come up with it?!
The name just came to me by experimentation and learning a different type of language that was registering in my head. It made sense to me and the vocabulary usage of inventing and creating a whole new word.
I’m glad you change the name. Much cooler. Your mind is a thing of beauty. Your poetry always inspire deep thought and careful consideration
Poetry moves readers, it inspires, it hurts, its happy, its eccentric, its unknown, its motivated.
That’s what poetry does for everyone and makes it feel.
Very well stated, Charlie
Ahh, that alliteration of the new name sounds perfect! 🙂 Your creativity is boundless!
Thank you. 🙂
I thrive to create and evolve in my next stages of evolutionary Darwinism. I got tons of names that I came up and are in the works for ending up on upcoming poems. 🙂
A poetry evolution 😀
“Gosh! I’m tired of vulgarity
I must stop dissecting my bio-compulsion.”
^ I went, “Ew!” at this part. Very effective writing, my friend! 😛
Thank you Tony. 🙂 hahahaha!!!
I’m glad you liked that line. I’m starting to witness all the readers getting their different set of lines they favor, which is good. I love diversity. 🙂
Your work is very unique. Congratulations!
Thank you Resa.
I try my best to push my imagination to the furthest.
Oh, I do hope that my sharing this doesn’t fall into the category: “No part of Furlin Ash Sniffed Whispered Dandruff may be …transmitted in any form or by any means”. Your work ought to be read/heard. As a musician, I appreciate the sounds of your poetry even more! 🙂
Go right ahead and share this poem of mine with the world on your social media. I don’t mind, and I’m giving you my permission.
🙂 🙂 🙂
This piece really got to me. You have depths within you and you’re exploring them the right way. Well done!
Thank you. 🙂
I’m not afraid of what is in my neurons. All I’m doing is decoding my DNA and re-programming of my own world.
That sounds like a fun thing.
It sure is. 🙂
🙂
i loved this my surreal, bizarre, halucinogenic friend!i really did
Thank you Geo. You know one of these days we must collaborate. All the readers here on WordPress would flip out. 🙂 The bizarre world of mine is just getting started.
yes, i guess we could give it a try! i have another collaboration coming up, it will take about a week, according to my current schedule. when you re ready send me a piece of your writing (email on my contact page) and who knows what will come out of it!
Who’s holding the metaphor at ransom? What a brilliant line, what a brilliant write-up! One of your best Charlie.
Thank you. 🙂
I felt like the word metaphor needed to be embraced by the imagery that’s being told and said. It makes people wonder if their own use of words are being held at ransom by our subconscious. Or the other way around. 🙂
Or the other way around 😉
Favorite lines:
I can barely feel my own presence
Have you encountered the lonely violin?
It cries dust, it sings a tune,

And…
I must stop dissecting my bio compulsion! Stellar, Charlie!

“I can barely feel my own presence
Have you encountered the lonely violin?
It cries dust, it sings a tune,
but who’s holding the metaphor at ransom?” I love the idea that someone can hold a metaphor ransom!
I knew you would love that line. I know everyone did. 🙂
I picture the idea of a metaphor being held at ransom, but what would benefit from it? I question.
Perhaps your next poem will answer that question?
Perhaps…will see what my brain thinks up next.
Yes we shall 🙂
