  1. This is fine intellectual, aesthetic poetry , I think I will be reading it several times. It seeps into me. Quite blew my mind , Charles. You keep coming up with epic pieces.

    1. Thank you Yassy.

This is another cryptic poetic puzzle that one needs to solve by re-reading it over.
You may have seen a message of what entails. But there a few within this context that need to come out of hiding.

Don’t worry…all readers have a whole day to try and figure this next fun challenge.

By tomorrow I shall reveal what the whole poem means. 🙂 Like I did with the other one on Monday. 🙂

  2. Charlie, I think hope is on life support but I have hope that it will pull through. While common sense is being nursed by Philosophy – so many people lack it. Great thought-provoking work!

    1. Thank you Victoria.

Just so you are aware. This is the second cryptic poetic puzzle that I’m letting all readers take a shot at solving the message behind this context.

So far you’ve got one…there’s a few within. Common sense is nourished by Philosophy. Your right. most people lack the idea but there’s always hope for them.

  3. Oh and I want to add – Have you ever noticed the more philosophical a person seems to be ( having earned high degrees) the more likely they lack common sense! Keep nursing philosophy and maybe we’ll get there one day!

    1. Yes. I’m not philosophy major but I’ve known philosophers who do lack common sense through the obvious reasoning.

On the mountains of truth you can never climb in vain: either you will reach a point higher up today, or you will be training your powers so that you will be able to climb higher tomorrow. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

        1. You’ll be the first that I reveal the meaning of the whole poem.

          Here you go:

Dada drooling – Dada in the 21st century has seen and witness what is happening around. The more shocking news or stories we hear. Some people still care about the world, others become desensitized.
It is the right of a Dadaist poets from all over to really give it our all and heal the wounded, replacing it with humor and style.

Male vitamin/ feminism protein – Metaphorically speaking, pharmaceutical drug companies and their ridiculous names of each brand they choose to feed on everyone. Every commercial makes the side effects clear, and it’s all the same side effects nothing different about any of them.
Now, if we can agree, all medication is bad for you…but some is good.
          Depending on the circumstances.

Hope is on life support – Sometimes we feel like giving up on everything.
Not everything is hopeless or meaningless. We all embrace talents, & gifts, using both to write music, poetry, dance, & sing. Each day there are struggles, some of us we can’t go against because of the powers that be.
We can only do so much for earth; we can’t give up on her. She needs our blessings, prayers, & most importantly love.

Sion – Sion and Zion The Connection: The rising moisture from the region of Hermon in the hills of Sion, to the east, is caught by the prevailing morning breezes and then falls on Jerusalem in the mountains of Zion as dew, especially in the late summer and early fall. It is along this easterly to westerly line between the Hill of Hermon, or Elijah’s Hill, and Jerusalem that the Lord commanded the blessing of life evermore.

          🙂

          1. Thank you for delving into this intricate and rather obscure form of poetry. I was first introduced to Dada by some German friends at a German poetry site, they seem to be quite taken by it. I am still not quite sure how to compose so I am steering clear of that but still fascinated by this form and hats off to you on grasping it so beautifully 🙂

            1. I know its quite hard to grasp a form of poetry like Dada. I guess its about breaking away from all constraints of poetry. At least its what I understood by the Dadaist philosophy of it all.

I’m glad you enjoyed this poetry and its style. Next Monday, no more puzzles. A different kind of poetry will have you feeling about things and people. You’ll see on Monday. 🙂

  4. Nice work, man! I love how you’re playing with form, and how the poem looks on the page. It’s very reminiscent of e.e. cummings who, in a poem about rain, quite literally wrote words sideways so as to make them resemble raindrops. Brilliant! I see this poem as revealing how art and language have the power to deconstruct and reveal essential truths, no matter how brutal or ugly they may be. Well done. This one will definitely stick with me long after I’ve read it. 😀

    1. Thank you Chester.

Yes, I do remember ‘e.e. cummings’ doing this.
The power of art can deconstruct to re-construct in different forms.
Truth be aware art sees the brutality that plagues us. Hope there is chances.

Tomorrow I’ll expose to what needs to be the answers to this poem. 🙂
Keep your eyes peeled on the comment sections. 🙂

      1. Nice! I love the blend of influences that you used for your “answers.” The Jewish symbolism is of particular interest to me, not just as a Jew, but also because it calls to mind what Ginsberg did with “Kaddish.” I don’t know if you’ve read that poem, but it’s a sort of eulogy for his mother, Naomi. The Kaddish in Judaism is said upon the passing of a friend or loved one. It’s a sort of blessing to commemorate their life.

Forgive me, I went off on a tangent there (as I always tend to do,) but as I was saying, I love the blend of influences. Your mind is like a sponge, my friend, and everything you read, observe, and experience is reflected in your work with a philosophical spin. You never fail to impress me. 🙂

  5. I think I will let someone with better grey matter sort this one out Charlie.. Reading it I am reminded of the formulas of feed given to babies …
We are breast fed most news.. Brought up with it.. till it flows within us as real.. When in fact those who would have us believe they are enemies are in fact in alliance..

Monsanto comes to mind… [probably nothing to do here with your thoughts but they come into mine ]

Any way Charlie… I will leave it for another to solve my friend.. Stress is what I am avoiding at the moment LOL 🙂
    Great chatting.. ❤ xxx

  6. Life can be seen as a joke, the punchline revealed only after death.
So it is with much art and art movements, that mostly only the creators know the value of the truth in their work.
As the art and its truth fades into the future, the rich put dollar values on it. Galleries hold it as prisoners, for the public.
In a panic to secure art now that will increase in value, some artists create for the money…. only. Wherein does their artistic truth lie? Does money kill passion? It can, but true strength may lie in passion killing money.
Time for artists from the proletariat to create a new message, again.

    1. Resa, the answers you seek become your peek.

      1. Dear Charlie,
This is a very long answer to a long riddle. You could have made 10 riddle poems.
I say this as a good thing.

Your depth of introspection is a wonderful aspect.
I hope you appreciate that, as much as I think & feel I understand your work, sometimes it is difficult to keep up with you.

  7. Charlie,
It seems to me that you’re producing poems that involve
the least likely words in the universe.
Possibly… future poems will consist of artful collections
of letters that aren’t actually words. You could start adding
numbers to the letters. Lots of dashes and question marks.
Sorry, you’ve gone too far out for me.
I am not trying to be negative.
    Wish you the best !
    TO HELL WITH THE CHARLATANS
    ——MORE POWER TO YOU———

    1. Michael,
      Poems have only just begun.
The universe has her sense of humor.
I could add numbers and dashes in the equation,
But where’s the fun in that? hahahaha!!!

Don’t worry my friend…Your not being negative at all.
In fact, I love honesty and you’ve brought a smile to my face.
Thank you for you always being you.

      Down with Charlatans!

    1. Yes, you may reblog.

  8. Another wild ride. Like the shapes – centre justification and one character per line meant to appear nipple like? But why the one left justified verse? Looking forward to the big reveal!

  10. Oh wow this is new. There are some really grotesque 😍imagery in this piece. I love the the cryptic clue layout. Need to read this again, flow course. The syntax is true dada style. It goes against the core of the rhyming romantic ideas of poetry and I love it . Love that you are a rule breaker who knows the rules 😁 there are a mother of themes in here that I stand with you politically. It’s an ugly world. 👌👌👌👊👊👊😎.

  11. Thanks Charlie…yes so much of what you point out stares at us yet for so many they do not see. Big Pharma… I was only speaking to a friend on a blog recently.. How one pill creates two then three all designed to create wealth, not Health..

I found some of your links very interesting too.. 🙂
May we poets keep writing.. Though I could never top your cryptic style Charlie.. A spade is still a spade in Dreamwalker’s World.. 🙂 🙂
Hugs and Have a brilliant day.. I am just back from the allotments.. fresh veggies for me.. 🙂 None of the additives will you find in my diet.. 🙂

    Big Smiles and Hugs
    Sue 🙂

  12. I just came upon this and I am very shocked. That happens rarely when I read, these days. So I must thank you for this enlightening piece of poetry and am looking forward to reading more
