Street Art Poetry: Resa and I – Collaboration

Our 3rd collaboration in ‘Street art poetry’.

Resa’s interpretation of my words ‘Mermaid’.
The color palette and the eye brings out the beauty in a mermaid.
She gives life to the painting and the words speak for themselves.

The eye of the mermaid sees beyond truth and love.

Resa is a rock star and a talented and wonderful human to us all here on WordPress. Her contribution to the arts is phenomenal.ย

Without further ado our collaboration! Resa is the best and she really did such a beautiful job.

My vinyl eyes
painted
hot orgasm.
The eerie rose
spilled cryptic commas.

I noticed the mermaid is forming a heart around the words.

The Beautiful Mermaid feeling some sun. ๐Ÿ™‚

Miss Mermaid is now in the shade staring right at you to read the poem.

Beautiful colors on this door. The colors blossom brightly. ๐Ÿ™‚

Resa is an incredible photographer.

The sun, shade, and Mermaid is beautifully captured.

I love this shot here. The mermaid is saying; My vinyl eyes painted.

Miss mermaid getting more vitamin c.

Miss mermaid hides behind the shade but looks right at you with her one eye. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love this shot as well. Resa you are a genius.

  1. Incredible art , incredible words. Itโ€™s way beyond brilliant. Two wonderfully creative minds bringing an epic image and words to match.
Itโ€™s quite the masterpiece and one of your best works with Resa. Kudos to you both.
Itโ€™s a rocking collab. Must do more. Itโ€™s a gallery to the universe!

    1. When two creative minds are put together, a third eye emerges
thus, sending our consciousness to that world of our creation gallery and spark. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you Yassy. Resa is happy to read your wonderful comment and on behalf of us, we thank you so much and bless you. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I’m thrilled, Charlie.
I adore how you use every shot I send you. That is a huge compliment. ๐Ÿ˜€
It was a lucky day, the day I painted the door. It’s been rainy, dark, dank & chilly, but the sun came out on the weekend.
We are headed toward winter. My days for painting outside are slimming down. I won’t paint the door again, until either it’s tagged, or the city paints over it.
Anyway, when you get a chance, and think of another micro poem, send it my way. I’ll keep it on file until the right day comes along, and we can do our 4th colab. I think I’m getting a bit better each time I paint the door.
Again, thank you for this wonderful post…. my poet friend who is (4,054.7 km) or (2,520 miles) away.
Interesting how art brings people together! Cheers, Charlie! ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. You are greatly and wonderfully welcome Resa. ๐Ÿ™‚

You are such a fantastic painter and you put a lot of detail imagery
in your artistic work. The ‘street art poetry’ is etched in our hearts
and we are doing something incredible. I’m grateful and thankful of your inspiration, influence,
and appreciation of what you do in our community and the art gown world.

I’ll be working on a micro poem soon. And for sure – I’ll email it to you when its done. ๐Ÿ™‚

You’re right, art does bring people together and helps us connect creatively, spiritually, and positively. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. I look forward to your next micro poem!
I’ve always been intrigued by your poetry. At times, I’ve been enchanted, but mostly piqued and intrigued.
I know we need to live somewhere and have food and love and pets, but art rules.

        1. Thank you Resa.

I too, have always been a big fan of your art gown works and the gowns you design, create, and you are also a multi-talented person which I respect you so very much. ๐Ÿ™‚

Amen Resa. Art will always rule and that’s something we cannot lose.

Make art not war! I love it. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Reblogged this on Graffiti Lux Art & More and commented:
This is the 3rd Street Art Poetry door Charlie and I have done together, even though we live 2,520 miles away from each other, and have only met in the blogosphere. MAKE ART NOT WAR
I’ll be closing comments, so head to Charlie’s blog to see the entire presentation & comment.

    1. Thank you so much.

I know Resa is reading this…and she is smiling and feeling joyful.

We wanted to give this street art poetry a look and hopefully of something in us all that we feel and should enjoy the creation and beauty of any art form.

  4. The effect of the poetry and visual art together each magnifies the effect of the other, resulting in something magnificent. Her vinyl eyes paint this lushness of visual and poetic ecstasy. I love the way you have shown the way that looking at this in different lights and in different sections creates different effects. What an amazing collaboration, you two compliment each otherโ€™s talents perfectly.

  5. Don’t you love her madly?
    Wanna be her daddy?
    Don’t ya love her face?
Don’t ya love her as she’s
    walkin’ out the door
    Like she did one thousand
    times before?
