Pin up Celestial Bums

Politely crispy crunch
pounding the same canine scrag/

      1. Thank you for your generosity, Charlie.
I don’t often comment because I’ll just come off as some illiterate dud 😉 (I know I’m not, don’t you worry!)
Honesty is my game and I just felt I had to tell you as you are always so generous with your comments on anything I write! 🙂

  1. If you read this aloud Charlie, I think I can hear the crackle of words like the music I imagine you listened to as you put it together. I love the title too.

How are you keeping my friend?

    1. Here’s a song that influence the poem among others.

      Amnesia scanner – Lexachast I

Glad you enjoyed the poem and the title itself. New poem tomorrow.

I’m doing well. Keeping productive in writing and listening to lots of music.

      How are you holding up?

      1. I’m pretty good thanks Charlie, I’ve been pretty busy – the pandemic has meant extra work and responsibilities for me. But, I’m feeling fortunate for many reasons too. Thanks for the music link.

        1. Yes, this pandemic has been keeping all of us busy if not scared. But, we need to keep ourselves at balance and strong because we can all fight through it.

          You are welcome. 🙂

P.S Next weeks post will feel a whole lot weirder and unexpected and cryptic with game clues that all readers should decode. 🙂

    1. Thank you Nadine.

Glad you enjoyed those collage lines I put together. It gives the brain a sense of a different color palette imaginative that builds upon the readers senses. 🙂

More mind bending stuff tomorrow. 🙂

  2. You are just too cool for school (I hope no one under 30 reads this comment bahahaha)!
I could totally see this poetry recited on stage with a DJ playing in the background…
I think I cannot always follow your poetry on a left-brained-mind-level…but subconsciously it has an effect! Cool art. Thanks 🙂

    1. Thank you so much. 🙂

I’ve been meaning to recite some of these poems in audio. That way – all my readers can hear and feel a sense of the words themselves. 🙂 Hopefully, I’ll get around to that soon.

Art in poetry creates a world, an escapism for an reader to immerse themselves in that imaginative world of wonder and question.

  3. your poem reverberates with a resounding echo, can be felt all four corners of the world – excellent Charlie, I am transported and uplifted

  4. It’s mind poetry that you write , Charlie. All the cells in my brain are activated to think beyond their own powers.. I think you write vitamin poetry .. it fires up the blood in your veins.

      P.S I posted a new poem today. 🙂

    1. Yes, I have done reads live and on Video. The only videos are on my friends ‘YouTube’ channel where he has open mic readings for all. I am planning on doing some audio recitals. Don’t know when it will happen but hopefully soon. 🙂

      1. Nice, I liked how you honestly just started by saying basically that you had to go a bit mad to write them. I know exactly what you mean! Some times to study and experience something you have to allow yourself to believe something, for while at least. Which I guess counts as madness, unless you organize your madness. Then it is an institution of lord of Light that allows no faults, no shadows. Makes people deny natural things, perversion pervades the Holy.

  6. Awesome, good stuff! Can I find it searching for Charlie the zero? I’ve been on stage, small things. One summer I read poems in buss, people took it well, drivers not so much 😁🤷‍♀️ Should practice that more, out reading.

          1. Yes, I do. Although I remember a while back someone did an interview with you, and there was a pic.
You know, I really like your sincerity.
I have many thoughts about your ability to reach people, as a poet.
